Description: This concert encapsulates Lulu’s “life soundtrack” – the music that has accompanied her for as long as she can remember. From the walls in her childhood home reverberating the sounds of bluesy soul and Senegalese and Cameroonian music, to pop/soft rock accompanying her through DC’s junior high and high school halls, to jazz standards and alternative Neo-soul shaking the walls of her Harlem apartments, this concert will breathe warm nostalgia into the space.
