The Vincent Chandler Group will perform original jazz compositions inspired by the works in the Everyday People Part II exhibition. The music will be a personal perspective of his interpretations of select paintings, thus giving you the opportunity to learn something you probably didn’t know about one of Detroit’s leading jazz musicians and educators. This performance will be also treat you to “Jazz meeting Opera” when he invites his wife, opera singer, Kimwana Doner-Chandler to the stage.
