POLYFOLD is a collective of musical artists who have joined together to develop, and present creative works. Founded in Detroit, Polyfold produces concerts and recordings, hosts outreach events and educational workshops, and fosters creative community in Detroit and beyond.
Individually, we have performed with Detroit icons Marcus Belgrave, Robert Hurst, James Carter, Wendell Harrison, Michael Henderson, Amp Fiddler, Ralphe Armstrong, Marion Hayden, James Cornish, Kris Johnson, Thaddeus Dixon, Vincent Chandler, Dwight Adams, Andrew Bishop as well as internationally-known artists including Benny Golson, Talib Kweli, Saul Williams, Richie Cole, Curtis Fuller, Ken Filiano, Francois Moutin, and Henry Grimes.
